Mounting options
You can permanently mount the panel in a location of your choice (indoor or outdoor) by using the set of mounting screws supplied in the package. Do not overtighten.


Connection through a cigarette lighter adapter or 12V power socket
Connect the power cable into the back of the panel, then connect the male cigarette lighter adapter into your vehicle’s 12V power female socket.


IMPORTANT NOTE: In some car models, the cigarette lighter socket is inactive while the vehicle is turned off. Please consult your car owner’s manual before using the cigarette lighter adapter to connect your CL-1200.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: We highly recommend using a charge controller (not included) as it will protect your battery from overcharging and optimize the charging process. If you are attaching your panel directly to the battery, connect the battery clamps according to the proper polarity (i.e. red clamp to positive white wire, black clamp to negative black wire). Then connect the clamps to the battery terminals ensuring that all connections are positive (+) to positive (+) and (–) negative to negative (–).
